Directions for installing wall decals. You can do it!

First prepare your wall. Gently rub your wall area with a dry rag to remove dust. Do not use water or cleanser, just a dry rag.With the light stroke of a pencil, make a line on the wall about as long as your wall decal is. I use a level to help me with this part. Make your line where you visualize the top of your wall art going. I often take a second at this point and using painter's tape, quickly tape up my whole wall decal to make sure I will like the placement. Adjust as necessary. Better to check now than to be unhappy later. |

Next prepare your wall sticker. Unroll the wall decal and leave it to sit and to get flat. (this is not terribly necessary if you are in a hurry, I know how you are!)

With the right side of vinyl wall art down, rub wall decal with the side of a credit card, or any flat object. I don't recommend anything sharp, you don't want to cut through the wax paper backing. Rub several times, even using your finger to rub over each letter, and the entire wall decal several times, (count to 100, keep rubbing and stop complaining already!)

Slowly peel the wax paper away from the transfer, making sure that each piece of vinyl adheres to the clear plastic, not to the wax paper. This may take a few minutes. Keep laying your wax paper back down, rubbing with your finger again, and starting over. (Don't get in a hurry here, Little Missy, you don't want to tear your vinyl lettering.) Have a friend help you hold the wall sticker down on the table while you remove the wax paper backing.

With the help of a friend gently place the decal onto the wall, using very little touch until you have the top of your plastic sheet lined up with your pencil line. (It helps so much if you have one person holding each corner until you have it lined up straight) Barely attach the transfer to the wall using the top corners of the plastic to hold it in place while you step back and check your placement. You got that straight?? |

After you are satisfied with the placement, use your hand to gently apply the artwork to the wall, starting in the middle and working your way outward. Gently keep adhering your vinyl decal to the wall, working your way with your hand. |

Next use your tool or credit card to rub over each and every piece of vinyl. You will need to do this 2 or 3 (ok, 5) times to help seal the vinyl onto your wall. |
| Ok, now go have a cup of coffee or call your friend, you need a break! If you are anything like me, you just said, "No way, I am almost done!". |

This step is very important so listen closely! Starting on the left or right of your decal, carefully roll plastic away from the vinyl. You don't want to simply pull the plastic away, or your letters will come with it. Using a rolling fashion, lay your clear plastic back down on itself, and roll it away from the vinyl lettering, while keeping the letters on the wall at the same time with your fingers. It should just naturally stick, but you may need to hold the vinyl in place a bit at the more narrow spots. |

Keep your tool in your hand, and rub as you go. I often stop pulling for a second and rub just the letters I am about to separate from the plastic sheet. Stopping and starting is normal, just be patient, you will be finished in a minute or two. (Only concern yourself with the letter you are working on.) |

Once I have removed the plastic topper, I take my finger and gently rub each and every letter until it is laying down just right. If any pieces have moved at all, I gently lift them them with my fingernail and reposition them slowly. Everything works out great, the vinyl just naturally wants to go to where it lies flat. |

Oops, yeah, you did leave your pencil line on the wall. Just get some 409 or mild kitchen cleaner and a damp rag to lightly wash that off. Hey, we all get excited. |
